Ten-year-old Alexandria "Andri" Hill's dream of meeting two of her favorite television stars in Los Angeles came true recently.
However, when the big moment came to meet 14-year-old twin heartthrobs, Cole and Dylan Sprouse of Disney's popular show, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Andri froze in her tracks.
"I wasn't nervous until they walked into the room," Andri said of the actors. "I was so shocked I couldn't talk. They shook everyone's hands, but not mine because I was scared. But I got to take a picture with them."
Andri, who underwent a 16-hour heart transplant Dec. 17 at Children's Hospital in Detroit, received her wish from the Kids Wish Network, an organization in Florida that grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. Nearly four months after receiving an application from her mother, Angela, the Kids Wish Network notified Andri her wish had been granted.
"It's on her agenda to watch those boys on TV," Angela Hill said. "Her room is plastered with their posters."
Andri's Kids Wish Network coordinator, Lora Morawski, said the family was treated to several days in Los Angeles, with the culmination Andri's wish to meet the young actors, who met with several young fans at a private party.
"We flew them out and gave them a rental car and some spending money," Morawski said. "The family went to Disneyland, Universal Studios and California Adventure Park."
