He's the wild twin. Always has a plan and is constantly finding new ways to get him and his twin brother Cody into new heaps of trouble. He has good intentions, but somehow he always seems to find the WRONG way to execute his next crazy scheme. Always out for a fun time and the most stylin' attire, Zack is truly a party animal.
Cody Martin - ( Cole Sprouse )
ody is well known for his logical nature. He is the one that generally bails Zack out after reluctantly being sucked into the screwball plans that generally go awry after Zack dreams them up. He is the twin that can befriend anyone and without him, Zack would be forever grounded!
Carey Martin - ( Kim Rhodes )
Zack and Cody's mom. She is a single mother who found not only residency at the Tipton Hotel, but also employment. Casey is the headline singer of the Tipton's exclusive ballroom. Juggling a singing gig, finances, and a love life would be hard enough but when you see all of the crazy antics the twins provide - well, Carey is my personal hero! She is always there for the boys and really is a great mother.
London Tipton - ( Brenda Song )
Her father is the owner of the Tipton hotel and is forever away on business. With all of the money he's making this Tipton Princess does her best to spend as much as possible. Addicted to shopping and style, London has a tendency to forget that money can't always be the answer. She may not be the first one to learn a life lesson (or even the fourth!) but eventually with a little help she gets by just fine. Deep down, London does have a big heart and cares about the people that have become her friends at the hotel. Even if she doesn't understand how in the world people could survive without the finest clothes and hundreds of limitless credit cards, she is always willing to help out in sticky situations. Especially if it includes a chance to show off the latest outfit!
Maddie Fitzpatrick - ( Ashley Tisdale )
As if school and an average teen's social life aren't enough to deal with, this girl works at the snack counter of the Tipton Hotel, occasionally babysits Zack and Cody, AND continuously attempts to bring London "back down to earth". The exact opposite of London, Maddie has always struggled when it came to money, boys, and popularity. She is London's best (only?) friend and together they balance each other out. She knows the value of a dollar and she works very hard to be successful in every area of her life. Well rounded and "together" are perfect words to describe her, but Maddie is still your average teen. Boys and social situations are touchy subjects for her and without much experience, she'd be lost if it weren't for London.
Mr. Moseby - ( Phill Lewis )
The Tipton Hotel would be nothing without Mr. Moseby's constant efforts to provide the highest level of service to each and every guest to walk through the front door. He understands that his job is to create the perfect Hotel experience and as the manager of the Tipton he is responsible for every aspect of the Tipton Hotel. He knows that London's father is unable to be there for her so he also is in charge of making sure that she doesn't get out of hand. As strict as his rules may be, he is an excellent father figure when situations arise that call for it. He is a bit high strung, but it is only because he wants to make sure that everything is perfect. Hotels often have little problems here and there, but add Zack and Cody to the mix and, well, it's a wonder that Mr. Moseby hasn't completely lost it yet!
